Diaw Helps With Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Summer Rehab Games
ATLANTA (July 2, 2004) -- Children's Healthcare of Atlanta held their Fifth Annual Summer Rehab Games at Philips Arena on July 2. The event involved over 350 children from the metro Atlanta area who are currently undergoing rehabilitation services. The children participated in various activities including both team and individual sports such as: basketball, hockey, tricycle races, wheelbarrow races and dance contests.
During the Opening Ceremony, Thrashers Head Coach Bob Hartley and Hawks guard Boris Diaw welcomed participants and their families with encouraging words and thanked Children's Healthcare for inviting the team's to participate.

Philips Arena sponsored the Fifth-Annual Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) Summer Rehab Games held Friday in the venue for the second consecutive year. More than 350 children competed in games including basketball, tricycle and wheelbarrow races, dance contests, and obstacle courses, and got to interact with mascots from the Atlanta Hawks and Atlanta Thrashers.
