Atlanta Hawks guard Jason Terry will serve as a special celebrity judge for the Hoop-It-Up 3 on 3 Slam Dunk Contest at Six Flags Over Georgia, beginning at approximately 12:00 (noon) on Saturday May 8. Following the contest “JT” is scheduled sign autographs and pose for pictures with fans.
Hoop-It-Up 3 on 3 presented by POWERade is an annual three-on-three basketball tournament, held in 15 cities across the country. Over 175 teams are set to participate in this year’s event. Registration for the contest and tournament is closed but fans can view all of the festivities associated with Hoop-It-Up free of charge. Additionally, Hawks carnival elements and inflatables will be set up for one and all, and mascot Harry the Hawk is set to be on-site mingling with fans, posing for photos and signing autographs.
