    IN THE LOCKER ROOM

    HEAD COACH TERRY STOTTS:
"Travis (Hansen) has been making more and more shots. He’s been playing with more confidence and as far Bob, I didn’t know if he would get the triple-double or not, but that kind of just epitomizes the way he’s been playing for us.” “It’s been a long year, but I think we’re ending it on a positive note with winning three straight. It’s the first time we’ve done that this season and it just seems like there’s a lot of positive energy. I think this is the beginning of a lot of good things to come.”
    JASON TERRY:
"The style of play tonight was different. We were getting up and down tonight in transition and we had a lot of ball movement. Guys are really sharing the ball. I think we’ve got some of the key ingredients to put this thing together for next year.”
“We just wanted to go out and get a victory. The fans came out and supported us and it was a great game overall.”
(About Bob Sura) “The connection is better than I’ve had with anyone since I’ve been here in Atlanta. The chemistry is there and the other key component is Stephen Jackson. He’s our warrior and we need him back next year, too.”
    BOB SURA:
"It’s been exciting for me to come here. We’ve had fun and we’ve enjoyed playing together and we’ve been able to win some games. We don’t want the season to end since we’ve been winning some games. We’ve been playing some exciting basketball. It’s been great.”
(On third straight triple-double) “It doesn’t happen too often. The guys were screaming at me on that last play to do it. The ball slipped out of my hands (jokingly), so I had to go and get it back.”

    NETS HEAD COACH LAWRENCE FRANK:
"You have to give the Hawks a great deal of credit. They played extremely well and extremely hard, and give them all the credit. I think the Hawks had a rhythm going and we just couldn't stop them. Unfortunately, it was just one of those nights. (Were you angry?): No one likes to lose, and no one in that locker room likes to lose regardless of what you're playing for. You always play to win, and unfortunately, tonight is one of those nights that happens in the NBA. You don't accept it. No one in the locker room is happy about it. But it happened." RICHARD JEFFERSON:
"They're a very good team, and they got hot. Once they got hot, it was tough to extinguish it. We scored 107 points? And we got blown out basically. We did some things well, but as a whole our defensive effort wasn't where it probably needed to be. (Does it matter?): Whenever you're on the floor, you need to maximize your minutes and the way you're playing. So in that sense, yes it does matter. We didn't come out the right way, and they came out on fire."
    JASON KIDD:
"I'm getting into a rhythm and that's why I wanted to play tonight. (I was) playing last night, and then coming out and try to build on the game. I thought everything went well tonight except we didn't play any defense. (On Bob Sura's triple-double): I haven't had to (rebound a missed shot on purpose), but it still counts as a triple-double. He's on a roll, he's had three in a row. He's playing at a high level, he's playing well for them."
